When to travel to Hungary?
Due to a wide range of travel options, Hungary can be visited all year round. However, the best time to travel with ideal conditions is in summer, especially in the months of May to September. Here the pleasantly warm temperatures are convincing, it rarely gets unbearably hot, which is why even the midsummer is well suited for exploring the city.
For a holiday at Lake Balaton we recommend the months of July and August. The fringe months of April and October are still well suited for cultural and architectural focuses. You should therefore attach importance to appropriate clothing, since it can become very fresh especially in the evening hours.
