When to go to Agadir?
The best time to travel for Agadir basically begins with the rising temperatures in May and ends with the slowly returning humidity towards the end of October. Basically you can consider Agadir a year-round destination without any problems, as it can also be combined wonderfully with other cities in Morocco.
Nevertheless, one should be aware that in the low season bathing in the Atlantic Ocean at 16 °C to 17 °C can be quite chilly and only for the hard-boiled swimmers. High season from the end of June to the beginning of October is therefore perfect for a seaside and beach holiday.
Our recommendation is to look for some great bargains in the shoulder seasons, immediately before and after the European summer holidays, as the weather still shows best conditions but prices are comparatively low.

Agadir itself is not particularly rich in sights and attractions, yet the city has one or two surprises to offer. The long, modern promenade on the beautiful sandy beach is undoubtedly a gem.
The large souk El Had d’Agadir and the Médina d’Agadir are just as worth a visit as the old fishing port of the city. From the ruins of Oufella you have the best view of Agadir and can enjoy a great panorama.
A few kilometres outside the city boundary lies Taghazout Beach, another pearl that is absolutely popular with surfers. Here you can find some very neat little hotels and B&Bs with a charming atmosphere.
Popular day trips lead to the picturesque Paradise Valley, which looks like a mirage in the middle of the rather barren surroundings as well as the port city of Essaouira (around 2.5 hours drive), which is with good reason described as one of the most beautiful places in all of Africa.
