The other part of the lake is in Peru.

When to visit Bolivia?
Due to the different climatic zones, the best travel season for Bolivia cannot be generalized. For La Paz in western Bolivia, the months of May to August are the best time to travel. Day temperatures of 13 °C to 14 °C and low rainfall make the region interesting for trekking tours.
Centrally located Trinidad is the best time to travel from April to October. Temperatures of 29 °C to 32 °C are on the agenda here. Precipitation is kept within narrow limits during this period. The southern area of Sucre can be visited all year round. Mild temperatures ensure pleasant travel conditions all year round.
