Ibiza has been a popular destination for tourists from all over the world for many years. Ibiza is about 56 miles from the Spanish mainland and Mallorca, the largest Balearic island, is about 62 miles away. The landscape of the island is rather hilly and is interrupted by small sandy bays.
Ibiza has become famous for its beautiful beaches, but the island’s nightlife is also legendary. Most tourists come from Great Britain, Germany, Italy and France.
The most important places on the island are Figueretas, Playa d’ Bossa, Ibiza City, Santa Eulalia, Talamanca and San Antonio. Calla Vadella (in the west of Ibiza), Cala Llenya (in the southeast) and Sant Antoni de Portmany in the northwest are also becoming increasingly popular.
This is also not much and should not deter you from a holiday in autumn. With the sinking day temperatures below 20 °C the season slowly ends, the months November to March are comparatively quiet. In April and May the temperatures then rise again strongly and reach the 20 °C mark at the latest at the beginning of May. As the air temperature increases, so does the water temperature.
At the beginning of June, with water temperatures of around 21 °C, nothing more stands in the way of a leap into the wonderful Mediterranean. In the summer months of July, August and September, temperatures can reach 26 °C, and the air temperature can climb above 30 °C during the day. Rain is limited to very short showers on a maximum of two days a month.

When to go to Ibiza?
As a rule, Ibiza can be visited all year round, but as a rule only summer is suitable for a real beach holiday. Many larger hotels and clubs are closed outside the main season or go on a”low flame”. In May the season begins slowly, it is not too hot yet and Ibiza slowly wakes up from its hibernation. May and June are therefore considered the ideal travel season for couples and holidaymakers seeking peace and quiet.
By the beginning of July at the latest, the island will fill up quickly, the clubs are now open and the best DJs in the world are doing their best. It is not without reason that we recommend the entire period from June to October as the best time to travel in Ibiza, as during this period everyone will find the best conditions according to their own preferences. August is not only the absolute high season for families.
In the first half of September most of the big clubs close and Ibiza becomes more peaceful again. It remains pleasantly warm until at least mid-October and the Mediterranean is also still suitable for swimming. The beaches are now clearly emptier and there is a very pleasant atmosphere. right The cool February is considered an insider tip due to the almond blossom, also active holiday-makers appreciate the weather from February to April.
