At altitudes of 700 metres and above, precipitation of up to 11.81 in per year is possible. Most rainfall occurs between December and February, but it remains very manageable. When to travel to Lanzarote?
It is not without reason that the Canary Islands are called the”islands of eternal spring”. Lanzarote is a true year-round destination and, together with the other Canary Islands, is also a popular refuge for sun-seekers in winter. It is dry all year round, most rain falls between December and February, but even these months are by no means considered rainy with a maximum precipitation of 2.05 in.
As the best time to travel on Tenerife we recommend the summer months, in which you can enjoy up to 11 hours of sun a day and fantastic weather. The season starts around May, ideally from mid-June to the end of October. The Atlantic Ocean is still refreshing from June to mid-November at 20 °C to 22 °C, but can be used for swimming.

good old germany is too cold
Weather Rating: 5 stars – Excellent
The weather was very good a day of rain but only half an hour and then sun again. It had rained a few times at night, but you sleep there anyway.
Weather Rating: 4 stars – Good
Warm, daily 24-26 degrees but very very windy!
Weather Rating: 4 stars – Good
Despite 2-3 rainy days a wonderfully mild climate, one could still walk in the evening in a T-shirt. Also 2-3 days of quite strong wind, which makes the red flag on the beach erorerlich. Swimming in the sea is still very pleasant!
Weather Rating: 4 stars – Good
