When to visit Sardinia?
The best time to visit Sardinia starts in April for round trips, active holidaymakers (for example hikers and golfers), but most hotels and restaurants are still on a budget. With the rising temperatures in early summer, the picture changes abruptly; Sardinia offers the best price-performance ratio between mid-May and mid-June.
However, we recommend the months of July, August and September as the best time to visit the island, especially for seaside holidaymakers. The temperatures of 27 °C to 30 °C allow you to spend relaxing days under the Italian sun and a holiday to suit the taste of sun-hungry connoisseurs. The Mediterranean is up to 24 °C warm and it hardly rains at all, over 10 hours of sunshine in July and August provide perfect summer weather!

We were 20 days in September in the southeast of Sardinia, mostly outdoor/camping.

It’s easy to handle.
