When is the best time to travel to Tel Aviv?
The months of June to September often bring great heat to Tel Aviv and are therefore only recommended to a limited extent for cultural trips through Israel. With the refreshment offered by the Mediterranean the summer is nevertheless perfectly suitable for a relaxed bathing holiday.
The best time to travel in Tel Aviv is the whole period from spring to autumn, although even during the wet (but mild) winter with few restrictions the region is well suited for a trip. Our favourite months are the fringe months of May and October.

Tel Aviv-Jaffa is not a classical metropolis with hundreds of sights, but the city itself is its biggest attraction. Of course, it is a must to experience the joie de vivre on Tel Aviv’s beautiful beach. The area not far from the Hilton Hotel is ideal.
Already in the afternoon the many street cafés of the city fill up with a young, cosmopolitan audience. The “White City”, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2003, is rather historic. The more than 4000 Bauhaus-style buildings are the lifework of a large number of highly gifted Jewish architects who fled Germany from National Socialism.
The old town of Jaffa with its small winding alleyways is also a must, here lure beside small studios and interesting shops for example the old church Saint Peter as well as the Al-Bahr mosque. Other attractions in Jaffa include the Clock Tower, Jaffa Light Lighthouse and Al-Saraya al-‘Atika Palace.

In March we had during the day between 22 and 34 degrees. Most of it was in the mid-20s. Absolutely warm enough for the beach and if you are not so sensitive to cold, swimming in the sea is also possible 🙂
At night it took some getting used to and was fresh before the change to summertime- when the evening coolness came around 4.30 pm and the sun slowly disappeared.
Weather Rating: 5 stars – Excellent
During the day pleasant T-shirt weather around 20 degrees. Also at night one could sit outside – with jacket and/or sweater. Only on the day of departure there were several showers.
Weather Rating: 5 stars – Excellent
We had the best traveling wife. In the morning cooler”at noon great sun weather. Bathing was quite possible.
Weather Rating: 5 stars – Excellent
Great travel weather, a little too fresh in the evening. During the day up to 25 degrees, more is hard to bear in Jerusalem’s old town
Weather Rating: 5 stars – Excellent
Was there at the end of March – perfect not too hot not too cold.
At night a long-sleeved sweater is enough. Great country anytime, great food and great people.
Weather Rating: 5 stars – Excellent
the weather during my stay in Tel Aviv was really wonderful. I want to give the weather an A with a star! We could go to the sea every day and enjoy the sun in the small streets!

All around 1A top weather in June, at night it was mild 19 degrees (ideal for sitting outside) and during the day sunny at 30 degrees and more. Zero clouds, zero rain. Inspiring destination, I hope that peace will quickly return to Israel!
